Job Description:
Due to an internal promotion our clients are looking for a new Insurance Business Development Manager to join their team. You'll be motivated to push boundaries and unlock commercial income with new insurers while you collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the best outcomes for the business and our clients customers.
Focused on building relationships with Insurance companies to obtain capacity / income to support the insurance products your brokerage offers its customers. This is a relationship focused role focused on building new and maintain existing accounts. You will also own the whole process and oversee the onboarding of new Insurers in respect to contractual obligations & compliance. Plus you will be responsible for ensuring the success of these new relationships for all parties involved.
What you will do -
- guide and support sales, business development, and relationship management with prospective insurers
- build and maintain key relationships with prospective insurers and build contacts in the insurance market
- manage the process for onboarding new insurers onto our clients new products or existing panels
- assist and support key negotiations with new insurers to achieve the best financial results for our client while maintaining strong and lasting relationships
- oversee projects to unlock capacity and support our clients strategy
