Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable, career driven trading underwriter to join one of our client's London based commercial underwriting teams!
This is a perfect job for someone who is currently a multi-class underwriter (Property & Liability and/or Motor Trade) and is now ready for their next challenge.
This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to building a portfolio of both brokers and customers.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
- Previous Property, Liability and/or Motor Trade underwriting experience
- Strong ability to analyse risks and communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
- Confident trading abilities with a broad panel of brokers and good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation
- Strong commercial business acumen to create and deliver business cases
