Job Description -

We have an exciting opportunity to become the assistant to the Casualty Underwriter at a successful MGA.

Key Responsibilities -

The Casualty Underwriter currently heads up the Casualty book and picks up General Liability for clients based throughout the world to include US, Middle East, Japan, Australia and Europe. He is seeking someone with 2-3 years experience who is keen to progress into underwriting and gain underwriting authority. Alongside supporting him in booking business and checking all information required is on the slips, there is also a book of direct SME business from Australian market that he'd like you to oversee and underwrite. As the book grows there is the opportunity for you to progress and become an underwriter and that will come with the the potential to earn commission on new business you bring in.
