Job Description -

Our client is seeking a development focused underwriter to help promote their cargo products to the London market brokers to include their new multinational offering. Traditionally they insure cargo for businesses based worldwide. Predominately a follow account, with around 10-15 lead accounts.
Backed by our client’s exceptional financial strength, the marine cargo team offer significant capacity and underwrite business through their company platforms in the UK and Continental Europe.

Target Classes - 

The Marine Cargo & Specie team is focused on multi-national manufacturing and industrial businesses with integrated risk and logistics management. Clients operate in a wide range of industry sectors with focus on Hi-tech, Pharmaceutical, Machinery, Bulk Oil & Gas, & Ores

Cover - 

Cover is provided on an All-Risks basis for international and domestic transit (including whilst in storage locations and at ports). The program is designed to cover the whole exposure profile specific to each client’s requirements and is often dovetailed to work in conjunction with non-marine policies.
