We are currently seeking a Marine Hull Underwriter for our clients, who are a London Based MGA. This is a fantastic role for a competent underwriter or assistant who would like the opportunity to develop their own book of business.
Key Responsibilities -
Our clients are a successful MGA who are constantly adding to their products and employing
underwriters who are keen to build their own books of business. They arrange capacity, have IT systems in place, and an operations team – all of which combine to ensure a great service is provided to their Broker.
Our client’s collaborative supporting environment gives underwriters the tools to succeed.
The Marine Cargo Underwriter is inundated with Hull enquiries so seeking to recruit a development focused Hull underwriter to join him and help grow the book.
This is a fantastic role for a competent underwriter or assistant who has an underwriting licence. It will give the opportunity for them to develop their own book of business and take responsibility for its performance.
They offer a USD 5 million line, and underwriting focus is on manageable risk classes:
- Small to mid-sized commercial fleets (bulkers, feeders, tankers < 50k DWT)
- Inland/coastal tonnage
- Workboats, tug fleets, offshore supply vessels
- Fishing vessels and small ferries (carefully selected)
