Our clients are searching for an entrepreneurial self-starter who will bring fresh perspectives and a proactive approach to developing our clients portfolio.
We are searching for an adaptable and forward-thinking experienced underwriter, with the enthusiasm to embrace new underwriting technologies and digital tools.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in either the London or Manchester office.

- Being a team player is essential, our clients will shy away from a prima donna underwriter as the book is a team book which everyone contributes to.
Key Responsibilities -
- Underwrite new business risks in accordance with company guidelines and technical standards.
- Proactively manage and grow a pipeline of new business liability opportunities.
- Actively trade with key brokers, maintaining a high level of market visibility through regular visits, calls, and presentations.
- Analyse and assess complex liability risks across a wide range of trades, applying policy wordings and endorsements accurately.
- Maintain excellent underwriting discipline, ensuring high attention to detail in file quality, pricing, and risk selection.
- Bring fresh ideas and a "growth mindset" to how our clients approach risk, helping to evolve their proposition in the market
- Collaborate closely with internal claims, actuarial, and sales teams to deliver a seamless service to brokers
